Expectations, Reality, and Evidence: Author

Outcome:
You will write one thoughtful research question and find two
credible website resources that answer your question.
Task:
o Review the authors we have studied so far this year.
o Choose ONE author that you would like to learn more
about.
o Create an original, open-ended research question that
will enable you to find more information about how the
authors life influenced his writing.
o Your question should begin with How or Why
o Conduct research and find TWO credible websites that
provide answers to your research question.
o Note: Wikipedia is not a credible website, nor is a
simple Google search.
o Provide a proper MLA citation for each website
Assignment to be submitted:
o One research question
o Your claim/thesis with reasons
o Two pieces of evidence (word-for-word from the articles)
to support your claim
o Two citationsone for each websitein MLA formatting
