The Storm
CRASH! BANG! Michael awoke as he heard the roaring cries of
thunder.
Stupid lightning Michael mumbled as he rushed down stairs. He saw
his family in the kitchen watching FOX News on channel 12.
Stay indoors a massive storm is coming towards Bake County,
Cleverly Hills. Was the last thing they heard before the signal went out.
His family started to preparing for the storm by boarding up windows. They
acted as if the storm was an apocalypse and they would have to survive on
canned foods.
Why are you all freaking out over a storm Michael asked as they
continued to board up all the windows. None of his parents answered neither
did his sister, Debra.
Why are you guys freaking out over a little storm! Michael shouted at
the top of his lungs. Still no one responded. He was too frustrated to ask
again so he marched up stairs with anger. They started to see the boards
shake.
I guess the storm is almost here. Said Debra with a frightened
expression on her face

Quick, everyone into the cellar! Shouted Michaels dad. Everyone

sprinted to the cellar. They moved so quickly and frantically that they forgot
about Michael.
Ok we have me, Debra, your mom and, wait, wheres Michael? asked
the dad with fear in his voice. Michael, who was upstairs and still angry with
his family, he looked out the window and shrieked. He sighted the
destructive tornado coming towards his house consuming everything in its
path. He dashed downstairs looking for his family. He didnt see his family
anywhere in the house.
MICHAEL! his family shouted simultaneously, Michael faintly heard
his family screaming for him. He started to run towards the cellar but as he
started to open the cellar door he was lifted off the ground from the
rampaging tornado. The last thing he saw was his petrified family.
