Approve compensation of $600 per month to board members in addition to traveling and other expenses members incur when attending meetings or trainings and transacting board business XI. Approval of the following Head Start Items: 1. Health/Nutrition/Disabilities/Enrollment Report for October, 2016 2. Expenditures Report for October, 2016 3. Quarterly SF425 Report for September 30, 2016 E. Permission to salvage one Dell Optiplex 755 desktop computer (Asset #03283) and one HP Pro8100 Officejet printer in disrepair from Head Start F. Permission to salvage one 36 inch television in disrepair from East Elementary School G. Permission to salvage 5 obsolete iPads previously used by Board Members H. Permission to surplus/salvage obsolete desktop computers, laptops, monitors, projectors, scanners, printers, Elmo, phones, access points and power units from Technology Department (Exhibit A) Permission to salvage five small tables, six projector carts, 6 file cabinets, 44 small chairs, five desks, six black projector carts, and five student desks (Exhibit B) XII. OLD BUSINESS: ‘A. Approval of revised Board Policy 6.24 Harassment, Violence, and Threats of Violence and Suicide Awareness and Prevention in response to the Jason Flat Act. This item was brought back from the Policy Review Committee. XIII. NEW BUSINESS: ‘A. Permission to hold night school at Cullman High School from January 16 - May 18, 2017 B. Permission for Cullman City Head Start to contract with Rainey Day Strategies to develop a Communitywide Strategic Planning and Needs Assessment C. Permission to amend contract with Sydney Pair to assist the teaching and content delivery of CTE Drafting courses at Cullman High School, extension to expire December 16, 2016 D. Personnel Considerations: 1. (c)Leaves of Absence: a. (c)lessica Lowry, Speech Language Pathologist at East Elementary School, requests Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) tentatively beginning March 18, 2017 and return 2017-2018 school year b. (c)Marcia Stringer, Head Start teacher, requests a leave of absence tentatively beginning January 11 - April 25, 2017 to complete an internship through Athens State University to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in May, 2017. ¢. (¢)Lucera Michaus, Interpreter at Cullman City Primary School, requests maternity leave tentatively beginning January 27, 2017 through March 12, 2017 2. (c)Employments: Conditional Employment under the terms of the Child Protection Act of 1999, Act No. 2002-457, and pending certification, as applicable. a.
