No. B/Misc. Commission-01/2015-6311/C.Whereas vide Home Department
(Special Branch) Notification No.-08/P.S.C/2015-650, Dated 23/08/2015/ 01/09/2015, the
Governor of Bihar was pleased to constitute an Enquiry Commission under the Commission
of Inquiry Act, 1952 (No. 60, 1952) for inquiring into the trapping in lift incident occurred
in the night of 21/08/2015 at State Guest House, Patna under the chairmanship of Shri
Shishir Sinha, then Principal Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department now Development
Commissioner, Planning & Development Department, Bihar, Patna. The last extension for
commission was granted upto 22.10.2015 vide departmental notification No.-10799 dt.
28.09.2015.
The Commission has submitted its final inquiry report to the government on
22.01.2016. Therefore, in the circumstances, the constituted inquiry Commission for
inquiring into the trapping in Lift incident in State Guest House, Patna is dissolved w.e.f.
23.01.2016.
