World of Darkness: Innocents.

Haven.
Haven is an old mill town in the Pacific North West, about 200 miles from Seattle, with a
population of 400 the town has seen better days. Many buildings are unoccupied, deprivation is rife
as is unemployment, the wood mill closed in 1993 and with it went most of the jobs in the town.
Surrounded by forest the town of Haven is isolated and often cut off by snow drifts in winter, the
remaining population consists of local business owners, a small Sheriffs department and residents
who have no where else to go.
The Haven Lumber Mill is disused and located 2 miles north of the town, parents warn their
children not to play there but the derelict mill is like a lure to curious youngsters. The area around
the town is heavily wooded with hills to the north that eventually give way to mountains. The
Duwamish river runs from the mountains past the mill and the town of Haven and eventually
discharges into Pugett sound.
