Binod Chaudhary to address Commonwealth summit

President of Chaudhary Group, Binod Chaudhary, will address the Common Wealth Heads of
Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2015 in Malta. Chaudhary will arrive in Malta on Monday to take part in
the CHOGM 2015. He will address the meeting as a guest speaker.

On 26th November, he will share a session with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Asian
regional integration and development. British Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs
Hugo Swire will moderate the session. On the same day, he is addressing another panel on sustainable
tourism.

Held every two years, CHOGM is a major global event attended by the leaders of 53 commonwealth
countries. This intergovernmental summit is an opportunity for Heads to address shared challenges and
set new priorities.

A walk to remember Nepal concludes


Aiming to encourage volunteers to assess the needs and rebuild the lives of the earthquake
survivors in Nepal, an NGO has launched a march covering 450-km in association with a
Nepalese monastery.
Gyalwa Dokhampa of the thousand-year-old Drukpa Order based in the Himalayas lead the 'A
Walk to Remember Nepal' event with over 200 volunteers and followers of the Drukpa Order.

This event was aimed at encouraging volunteers to assess the needs of the earthquake survivors
while concurrently raising awareness for the continued support needed to rebuild the lives and
communities of the survivors," according to a statement issued by the organizers.

"This march was in remembrance of the Nepal earthquake which rendered more than one million
people and families homeless, many of whom are still struggling to rebuild their lives," Gyalwa
Dokhampa noted.
"It is a reminder that the work is far from finished. More work is ahead of us and the world must
remember the challenges that Nepalis face in rebuilding their lives, Dokhampa added.
The march commenced at Druk Amitabha Mountain, famed for its kung fu nuns first responders
and female role-models of courage covering a distance of about 200 km.
This march traverses through some of the most devastated areas like Thimbu, Mila Raypa Nye,
Sermathang, Gangyul, Baruwa and will conclude in Chautara, the district headquarter of
Sindhupalchowk.
The march concluded on November 22, 2015. People from Nepal, Bhutan and India took part in
the eight day long event.
