    Air India is waiving applicable penalties for changes or cancellations of flights to, from, or connecting in Chennai due to the natural calamity in Tamil Nadu. Tickets issued on or before December 2nd, 2015 for travel on or before December 15th, 2015 will not incur reissuance, date change, no-show, cancellation or refund charges. Additionally, Air India will accept tickets issued for Chennai flights allowing travel to the nearest alternative airports without additional charges through December 15th, 2015.

    ACCEPTANCE OF TRAVEL DOCUMENTS - NATURAL CALAMITY IN TAMIL NADU

    In view of the natural calamity in Tamil Nadu, Air India waives applicable penalties of
    reissuance, date change, no-show, cancellation and refund charges for any travel from / to / via
    Chennai for both domestic and international flights, on all tickets issued on/before 2nd December
    2015, for the travel on/before 15th December 2015.
    Air India will honour and accept any ticket issued from/to Chennai for travel from/to nearest
    airport like Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kozhikode, Madurai, Mangalore,
    Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Trichy, Vijayawada & Vishakhapatnam till 15th December 2015
    without any additional charge.
