1.FromtheFilemenu,clickOpenFile.
Tip:IfyouareviewingtheStartPage,youcanclickOpenOnelineinstead.
2.OpentheSimple.dezileinyourSamplesdirectory.

Maximizeontheonelinewindow,ifneeded,toillthesessionwindowwiththeoneline.

CalculatingFaultCurrents
DoubleclickonBUS3.Thebusturnslightblueanddisplaysfaultcurrentsinsymmetricalkiloamps.AsshowninFigure1,
themotorcontributes0.863kAandthecable4.481kAtothefault.Thetotalbusfaultcurrent,shownatafortyivedegree
angle,is5.344kA.

toconvention,singlelinetogroundfaultcalculationsassumetheAphaseisfaulted.Fordoublelinetogroundandlineto
