JUDGING CRITERIA

a. Load test (25%)


The rig will be loaded while floating on the water. Rig that capable to contain
the most load just before it started to drown (said drown if the pontoon touch
the bottom of rubber pool and the rig is sinking) will be given maximum
score.
b. Economic Value (10%)
Due to competition theme, rig with the low material costs compared to other
teams will get a higher score.
c. Presentation (25%)
Presentation judging includes: participants appearances during the
presentation, clarity of presentation and verbal communication, content of
the presentation, ability to answer questions and study cases, and knowledge
about the rig they made and its economic value.
d. Detailed Model (15%)
The rig must provide full equipment used in semi-submersible oil rig. More
detail the model, higher score will be given.
e. Creativity and Logical Innovation (25%)
Participants are required to develop their creativity and innovation on rig
model they made. The more creative and feasible innovation you create,
higher score will be given.
