‘ ub dime : *Stitehing” {EMBROIDERY } (Or e Hey there! In this pack, one sheet is the ‘right way” and the other is reversed, Which sheet you use depends on your choice of transfer method and your preference for how the designs are oriented on your surface. Also, the patterns are FADED deliberately, so you can see where you have and haven't traced! + TRANSFER METHOD and INSTRUCTIONS + Carbon Transfer Paper - If using carbon transfer paper, you will want to use the pattern sheet that appears the “right way" (images and lettering are not reversed). Lay the carbon transfer Paper over the area you want to stitch, and then lay the design on top, with the design appearing face up. Secure the design in place so it won't shift, and trace using a tracing stylus or pen on a smooth, flat surface. Transfer Pen - if you are using a transfer pen, you will trace directly along the lines of the printed design and then lay it face down against your fabric to use the sheet like an iron-on. This means that if the design involves lettering, you will want to trace the reversed sheet so the letters are readable after transfer. NOTE + Some papers soak up the pen's ink and won't transfer as strongly or “give up the ink’. Be sure to make your fabric nice and hot, or use our Heavy Duty Tracing Paper for best transfer results with a transfer pen Laser Printer - If you have a laser printer (not an ink-jet), word on the street is that the printout will transfer directly onto your fabric just like an iron-on. I can neither confirm nor deny if this method works -some have had success with it, others have not. | think the secret is that you have to be sure to pre-heat you fabric (just as you do with the transfer pens and iron-on patterns). If you're trying this method, you'll want to use the reversed version All of these supplies are available on our website! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: Always test your transfer method on scrap fabric first. | want you to be happy with the results, okay? XK / o (pummege? © 2001 - 2016 Sublime Stitching ® Al rights reserved.
