To whom it concerns,
It is with great pleasure that I take this time to tell you about Mallory Wygal. I was the
clinical instructor for her medsurg clinical rotation in fall 2015. She is now in my 403
preceptorship class. She excelled for me then, and she continues to do so now as she finishes
her capstone and prepares to graduate. Mallory possesses traits of someone who is more like a
seasoned nurse than she is someone who is still a student in a nursing program. She is proactive,
a team player, makes safe decisions, and asks for help when she needs it. Patients loved her. She
has a great smile, a great personality, and has great situational awareness.
I am proud to recommend Mallory as a bright, competent, energetic, and creative nurse - a
solid new nurse hire for your team. She will be a sound investment and someone who will not
only follow and represent you she will also lead for you when you are ready.
On a personal note, Mallory has also on occasion had the task of caring for my 3 busy
children. I know her professionally, and personally. I trust her to take care of complicated
patients, as well as to keep my family safe If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact
me.
With warm regards,

John Sykes, MSN, RN
