Justification for the Award Application

A Comparative study to evaluate the Efficacy of Ksheerabala Taila Nasya and Sahachara
Taila Nasya in Vatika Shirahshoola w. s. r. to Tension-Headache is a bonafide research work done by Dr.
Ashok Kumar Patel.
Vatika Shirahshoola is having multi-dimensional aspect according to Ayurveda. So, the condition like
tension headache, condition should be taken under the heading of Vatika Shirahshoola. The symptomatology
of Vatika Shirahshoola explained in the classics is having the resemblance to the symptomatology of Tension
headache explained in contemporary science. The life style in modern era creates so many psychological
disorders. Vatika Shirahshoola (TH) is most common among them, which makes suffer many people due to
their run race.
Nasya karma is considered as very effective and easy procedure adopted in treatment in Shirashula.
Ksheerabala taila Nasya and Sahachara taila Nasya can be practiced safely without any adverse effects.
Statistically Teevrata of Vedana, Kaalaprakarsha, Vegapravrutti, and Shirahshoola are responding
equally in both groups. Clinically Nasya with Kseerabala taila group shown Best response compared to
Nasya with Sahachara taila.

We can give treatment in O P D level itself. The medicine and the Procedure are cost-effective. So
that it is convenient for the patient
