Blanket Purchase Agreement

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in
Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued.
Solicitation PC-16-Q-042 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89-1.
This requirement is being solicited on a full and open basis using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per
FAR Subpart 13.5. A firm-fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for portable water filtration
systems is anticipated. The Peace Corps intends to award up to three (3) BPAs as a result of this
solicitation. The estimated value of this BPA is estimated to be $5.5M. This BPA does not obligate any
funds. Call Orders issued against this BPA will obligate funds. Call Orders will be Firm Fixed Price.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is
333318, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
You are invited to submit a response in accordance with the requirements of this RFQ. This procurement
is being conducted as a 100% total small business set aside.
Issuance of this solicitation does not obligate the Peace Corps to award a BPA nor will Peace Corps pay
any cost associated with the preparation or submission of Quotes.
