Introduction:
On 31st May until 3rd June 2016, The 19th Southeast Asian Geotechnical Conference and 2nd
Association of Geotechnical Societies in Southeast Asia Conference (19SEAGC-2AGSSEAC)
was held in Dorsett Subang, Selangor.
Exhibition:
At the exhibitions, five roll up banners has been set up which is Naue Product Range, Softrock
Secutex needle-punched non-woven geotextile, Secugrid and Combigrid, Bentofix Geosynthetic
Clay Liner, and Bentofix X.. Videos been shown at the exhibition to attract more people to come
to the booth and explore more about geosynthetics. There are about 300 files of full brochures of
Naue products, ranging from general products to advantages of the products are prepared for this
exhibition and about 200 of them were distributed amongst the attendees such as JKR officials,
consultants, contractors, and few of academicians who came for the conference and the
exhibition. The souvenirs such as Thumb drive, Post-it booklets and pens were also given to the
attendees who came to the booth.
Response:
Response that we got from the crowd is good and most of them have heard of Naue brand and its
product, as this exhibition was set up for international programme. Most of them are want to
know more about Naue products and left their name cards to be contacted later for presentation
about the products.
Conclusion.
From the exhibition, we can see that Naue should join more international exhibitions and
conferences to create brand awareness, and maybe presenting papers in the conference involving

geosynthetics. Not only should the exhibition organized by the Government agencies, Naue
should also involve in the international exhibition such as International Construction Week
organized by CIDB and ecobuildSEA in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) last April.
Creating the brand awareness should be one of the key to increase sales.
2017 Proposals:
1) Participate with JKR and JPS related exhibition
2) Participate with Consultant related exhibition (IEM/ACEM)
3) Participate with International related exhibition.
