Throughout our history as a nation, there have been numerous sentiments about

numerous issues. These sentiments have led to many protests, some of which were monumental
and course-altering for our country. This being said, there are some issues that, numerically and
statistically, are just as breathtaking and disappointing as others that are not as media-covered or
protested. For me, this begs the question What determines what is protested? In my essay, I
will seek to explore this question.
