Year 8 Formal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Your child will have received and invitation
to the Year 8 Formal Dinner being held on
Wednesday the 14th December in the school
hall.
The layout for the evening is as follows:

6.30pm Parents drop students off - students mingle and have photos taken.

7.00pm Students and teachers seated for formal meal.

7.45pm Speeches/Presentation of Awards and Certificates.

Parents are welcome to join us from this point on.

8.15pm Clear away tables.

8.30pm Formal dancing.

9.00pm Student Disco.

Parents head to the library for refreshments.

10.00pm- Evening concludes.

The meal is a buffet and each student is asked to make one dish. Attached is a list
of who is to bring what. Please make sure that the dish is big enough to feed
approximately 8 10 people. The food needs to be delivered on the evening of the
dinner to the hall kitchen.

Please make sure that the dish is big enough to feed 8 10 people.
This is only a guide to help ensure we have a good mix of food. Please feel free to
bring something else if you prefer (try to work roughly around the area you are
down for e.g. main, salad or desert).
