Hello my name is Adrian Lea and I am applying to be the Social Studies

teacher at your middle school. I am a 2006 cum-laude graduate of North

Carolina Central University, with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. I
received my second Bachelors degree in 2018 from North Carolina Central
University in Middle Grades Education. I have experience working with
instructing students from my employment at University Instructors and the
America Reads program at North Carolina Central University and I have many
hours of volunteering within a school environment from many different public
school systems. Also, I received experience as an instructor and educator,
and all that it entails, from my field experience while at North Carolina
Central University and my student teaching.
My career aspiration is to become an effective middle school History
teacher or a guidance counselor, to help future generations of children
realize their full potential in life and education. Also, with my previous degree
in Political Science possibly become a member of the School Board of
Education. I think I would be a great addition to your school environment
because of my experience from, and my success at, student teaching. My
goal in life is to simply affect positive change in society, education, and the
lives of the people.
