43. Voltaire Domingo


Voltaire Domingo y Fernandez de Leon was born in Manila,
Philippines on 08 August 1970. His parents are Rodolfo Bolinas
Domingo (1943-2007), a government photographer for many
years,
and the former Evelyn Tavarez Fernandez-de Leon, a corporate
accounts manager for an insurance and HMO servicing firm.
His
only sibling, Grethel Domingo-Raypon, was the former
principal ballet dancer of Ballet Philippines II, San Jose
Cleveland, and Diablo Ballet. She now lives in California
with her husband, Russell, and two children. Mr.
Domingo lives in Baguio City with his wife Marinela
Monica and daughter Ajna Mari Ysabel but is based in
Manila, Philippines.
Mr. Domingo took interest in photography while still young. His father, being a
photographer for a government agency, was a great influence to him. His father
thought him at a young age the basics of photography and spent countless hours
in the dark room teaching him the technical side of printing photographs.
