So Much to Thank Him For

A part of every believers day should be

spent in thanking God for His bountiful
blessings. We at Southeastern Free Will Baptist
College feel that we have been especially
blessed. Our first blessing is in relation to
how God has enabled us to train and send so
many Christian workers into the local church.
Now, that special group of Southeastern alumni
are training and sending workers who have a
heart To Know Him and To Make Him Known.
Our second blessing is our many partners
who love and pray for us. God has provided for
Southeastern through your gifts. It is great to
know that our Partner base is growing! More
churches, more individuals, more businesses,
and more foundations are catching the vision
of training and sending servants.
A third blessing is in relation to
Southeasterns advancement toward
accreditation. At the end of November, a
TRACS (Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools) accrediting review team will
be on campus for two days reviewing our progress. We anticipate obtaining candidate status
with TRACS this spring.
A fourth blessing is the sixteen high school seniors who began their application for the fall
of 2017 during our recent All Access Days. For us to fulfill our mission of training and sending
servants to local churches, we depend on
willing
servants who will partner with us for their
education. Added to those young people, we
currently have our annual high school
basketball Tip-Off Tournament going on with
twelve
teams on

campus. It was a joy to have them in our chapel service

today.
A fifth blessing would be our heritage. Every week, we send out groups to minister and say
thank you to our partners. This past week, we had the privilege to be with several of those longterm partners.
