DIRECTIONS: You will observe many children performing many different kinds of skills. Select 8 (or as many
as you can) different tasks and describe how the high skilled students and the low skilled students are
performing.

Task

Higher Skilled
1. Goes on all fours when
running like a dog/cat.
2. Talks like the animal for
the entire relay race.
3. Cheers on teammates.
1. Stays on beat for the entire
song.
2. Dances the steps and adds
their own creative flair.
3. Volunteers as student
leader and has creative
dance move for class to do.

Lower Skilled
1. Runs on two feet rather
than four for cat/dog.
2. Is a little shy when
mimicking animal noises.
3. Doesnt race with as much
effort as the other students.
1. Gets nervous if outside
people walk past the class.
2. Will only do certain part of
the dance and then get
sidetracked.
3. Is shy when chosen as a
student leader.
