Transitions and Interruptions

To minimize interruptions in the classroom I

am going to implement the usage of hand
signals for things like the bathroom,
sharpening pencils or answering the
question. I will spend the first two weeks of
school teaching the students the signals to
prepare them for the rest of the school year. I
will put a picture for each of the signals in
front of the classroom in case they forget
them all they have to do is look up again to
remember. When the students are going to
specials like art, music, P.E or any other time
they have to leave the classroom as a class
we will sing the line-up song to prepare them
to walk the halls.
