Genting Highlands is a three-star hotel in Genting Highlands, a hill
resort in Malaysia. Featuring a total of 7,351 rooms, it has set the
Guinness World Record for Largest Hotel in the World (by number of
rooms). By 2006, it featured 6,118 rooms, making it the largest
hotel, until The Palazzo, an expansion of The Venetian in Las Vegas,
officially opened on 1 January 2008. In 2015, First World Hotel
regained the Guinness World Record[1] after an opening of a new
block.
Genting Company also stated that ''We are committed towards
providing the most delightful and memorable experiences to our
customers.'' And ''We aim to generate sustainable growth and
profits, and to consistently enhance our stakeholders value.'' In
their mission statement. The Genting Highland is the only place
where gambling in casinos is legal, granted by the first Prime
Minister of Malaysia Tunku Abdul Rahman. The hotel in the First
World Plaza is considered the largest hotel in the Asia, as it has
more than six thousands rooms with budget price, which is one of
the factors that attracts people who seek for budget
accommodation. For those who can afford and willing to pay for a
classier and luxury hotel, they would look for Genting Grand Hotel
and Maxims Hotel where there are a lot of better facilities and a
luxury environment. Genting Company has always been a service
and hospitality industry, and they own a lot of casinos and resorts in
different countries.
