Teaching Tip

Purpose:
This activity is suitable for intermediate level. The activity can be used for Speaking,
Reading, Writing, and Listening Course. The activity will increase your students level in
learning vocabulary. I usually use this activity to teach my students to learn new vocabulary.
Flashcards activity is based on students memorization and prediction. The teacher will display
some flashcards to students and he/she asks students to predict what the pictures mean. After
that, the teacher will give the students the meaning of the words.

Material:
1. 100 Flashcards about different things.
2. Flashcards quiz sheets.

Time: This activity will take about 40-60 Minutes.

Procedure:
1. Ask students to get into their seats. (3 Minutes).
2. Introduce the lesson to students. (5 Minutes).
3. Show picture to students and ask them to predict the meaning of each word. (10
Minutes).
