SHORT TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the Director -ASDS, from the registered and reputed firms for supplying
following items for humanitarian aid under European Commission for Humanitarian Aid (ECHO) funded
project titled Extending humanitarian and protection support to internally displaced tribals in Khammam
District of Andhra Pradesh 2011-12. The projects aim is to provide feeding support for most needy
families in IDP (internally Displaced Persons) settlements (villages) situated in interior areas of Khammam
district. The quoted price shall be inclusive of all (VAT and insurance etc). Quoted Rates should be F.O.R
to destination for all items. Due date for tender submission is 01-07-2011 by 5.00 pm and all submitted
tenders will be opened on 04.07.2011 at 11.00 am. Only selected vendor(s) will be informed through

The firm should not be black listed by a government agency. The bidder who do have financial capability
to invest at least 4,00,000/- INR during the contact period should apply. Local bidders are encouraged to
participate. ASDS does not bind itself to accept the lowest of any tender or assign any reasons for nonacceptance. It further reserves the right to accept any tender wholly or in part or not to accept all offers
at its option; it also reserves to itself the right to procure materials placed against this enquiry with
specific intervals (15 days- 2months) over a period of 10 months. Except perishable items, all items
supplied needs to have at least 6 months shelf- life.
The following documents needs to be enclosed in a sealed cover containing the technical Bid along with
attested copy of income tax returns for the last three years. Bidder should also furnish (certified/
declaration copy of PAN/TAN/No and sales tax No/ GST/CST/VAT). A crossed Demand Draft for
Rs.1,000/- only issued in favor of The Director, A.S.D.S, Payable at STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD AT
REKHAPALLY BRANCH (CODE:20680), (unsuccessful bidders DDs will be returned back) should be send
along with the Tender document to the address mentioned below through Courier or Registered Post on
or before 01-07-2011 by 5.00 pm along with respective samples. All tenders should be accompanied
with above mentioned, duly signed documents and product samples, failing which tenders may not be
considered.
