Decorative Panels Installation
by a tailer
1)
2)
Prepare the wall ensure that the wall to which you are going to
apply the decorative panels is even, with no major irregularities( if
there are irregularities of more than 4 mm, level out the wall using,
for example, a gypsum putty).
Always prim the wall with an ordinary primer before you install the
panels If the surface is slippery or difficult use Joni Grip.
3) Arrange your panels the way you want them on the wall. Measure the wall so
that the elements fit your furniture arrangement or interior design in general.
Measure the wall and put the panels on the floor the same way they are
supposed to be glued to the wall. If numeration is given, please install them in
accordance with it.
4) Fix the moulding tightly to the wall horizontally, in order to apply the first
layer of panels. This will keep the first layer of panels in place. The moulding
should be about 2 cm thick.
6) Prepare the installation material. We start applying the panels from the
bottom, horizontally. Apply the first layer of panels and wait until the glue has
set. The panels can be applied using fixing glue, gypsum putty or, for
irregularities of over 4 mm, a gypsum glue.
7) After ensuring that the first layer of elements is firmly fixed, you can then go
on to apply the remaining panels. Continue until all the rows of panels have
been installed as shown in the picture.
8) If it is necessary to re-cut the element to fit the ceiling, use an ordinary wood
saw and sand the element with 120 grade sandpaper.
