Visit Forcalquier
Forcalquier is a town located in Provence to the south of Sisteron and north
east of Aix-en-Provence. It is toward the eastern edge of the Luberon region. If we
focus on exploring Forcalquier, you can find out there is an attractive small
Provencal town, which decorates with numerous highlight to discover in the
narrow streets since the building is close to each other. What makes it more
interesting, almost all the design of the building and its structural still remains.
Every Monday, there will be market day in Forcalquier which has one of the
larger and livelier markets in the region and popular between citizens and tourist.
There is also a small museum with various item from the long and active history.
For those like to capture moment, there are good of small scenic village in the
vicinity such like Mane and Dauphin to the south .Beside that, we can also see
small stone huts in the surrounding countryside, while another fascinating sight
can be seen just north of the town.

4. Digne - les - Bains with attractions.


Digne - les - Bains is situated on the river Bleone and below the Cousson
Mountain in a region of thermal springs, in the centre of the town. The town was
called 'capital of lavender because the flower is grown in large areas of the
surrounding countryside. At there, you will see the most important monument
which in roman style Cathedral.
Furthermore, you can see parts of the original city fortifications and
various sculptures added to enhance the town towards the end of 20 century.
Besides that, thermal spa water also one of main attraction being there especially
for the visitor. Other than that, include the extensive butterfly garden, and the
Botanic Garden of the Cordeliers, with a focus on an aromatic and medieval
plants. The view of countryside around the Dignes - Les -Bains is very attractive,
with mountains and valley, fast flowing streams and lavender fields which is
much pleasure to explore.

5. Verdon Gorge
Being in France, does not mean we are not able to have adventurous activity.
The Verdon Gorge is Europe's largest canyon being 700m deep in places. They
offers lots of activities such like walking, cycling, canoeing, rafting, aqua - rando
and rock -climbing. In addition of that, they also provide for those more
interested in wildlife in the Gorge. This area has been chosen for the reintroduction of Griffon Vultures into the country. For those had being here, they
will enjoyed fascinating moment when watch these huge birds soaring the
thermal current around the spectacular cliffs of the gorge.
