Script/Stage Directions

We have decided in our group to create a film opening that consists of a sequence of
related shots but they do not form a cohesive story. We have decided to this as we
feel that we will be able to film more interesting shots which are visually appealing to
an audience. As we are not creating the start of a storyline the stage directions are
quite random and are not in chronological order, music will be playing throughout so
therefore we felt that no dialogue is needed.
Characters:
Willow - A young teenage girl who has been possessed by an evil spirit.
[Willow sits alone on a bench, she appears cold, tired, lonely and distressed. She
looks down at her hands, they are blood covered due to her holding a strong grip on
a knife.]
[Willow walks amongst graves, almost limping so her pace is slow as she takes in
her surroundings.]
[She stops, exhausted,and slowly falls to her knees, and screams with a had
outstretched as if she is calling for help but no sound is heard, her scream is silent.
Her face looks pained and distressed.]
[We then see Willow back on the bench, she looks around as though she is being
stalked, as if someone is following her. She is scared, confused. She runs her hands
through her hair and grips tightly, almost pulling it from her skull.]
[Willow stands with her back to a wall, she slides down and puts her head to her
knees. She then looks up, breathing heavily, face distressed.]
[She begins shaking her head, screaming no violently over and over but no sound
is heard. She scratches at her skin violently as if something is crawling on her body.]
[Willow crawls to a specific grave, suggesting that it is of significance to her. We see
her sat with her legs crossed facing the grave, as if she is having a conversation with
the person who is buried there.]
[Willow repeats some of the previous actions, she returns to the bench several time
as well as walking around the graveyard looking as though she is lost and
disorientated.]
