CSA Meeting

The meeting yesterday was supposed to be a conversation about religion, however

the conversation ended up diverting
It discussion was very informal, relaxed, laid back, it seemed to have a strong
community element
Talking about their schooling experiences
discussed the IB experience in the Caribbean, and SAT
o spoke about IB diploma, standard level, no PSAT, more independent
learning style, two-year essay
o spoke about Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE),
PSAT, and whether or not advisors understand CAPE and Caribbean
education system
Hairstyling convo: how hard it is to get haircuts here: relaxing it, wearing
weaves, Chinese hairstylists vs black hairstylists, cream it, braid it, perm it,
hair cant be combed, deciding to go natural, and nappy hair, rope twist,
age at which parents relaxed it, they are explaining how the water doesnt
penetrate their hair now
