-WERE THERE ANY SITUATIONS IN WHICH YOU THINK AN
INJURY COULD HAVE OCCURRED? WHY?

On October
4, I Sports Med a water polo game at Notre Dame High School. First,
Notre Dames boys JV team played against Alemany and then Varsity played.
the game, I helped prep the water bottles and the gallon of water for the
Before
athletes and prepared a first aid bag for injury. Furthermore, during the game I
was responsible of supplying the athletes with water during time outs. One of the
JV players had gotten his finger stuck in a car door earlier during the day so he
was out because he could not bend his finger. He most probably broke one of the
bones in his finger and had it taped. In addition, during the Varsity game the
Alemany goalie suered a throw straight to the nose, which resulted in his nose
bleeding. After the game, I prepared a ice bag for him to stop the bruising and
swelling. Furthermore, an injury could have happened to one of the Notre Dame
seniors, Nick Luongo, because he complained of tightness and pain in his
hamstring. His hamstring was probably very tight and overworked and could have
possibly resulted in a tear.
