CONCLUSION
-

Since the flow is given from the apparatus, it might

not be not accurate and it will affect on the chezy and
manning coefficient .

Notice how the roughness coefficients are affected by

the average water depth inside the flume !

manning and chezy coefficients vary with water

depth (at the same discharge)

manning and chezy coefficients vary with discharge (at

the same water depth)

the magnitude of chezy coefficient is increasing since

the manning coefficient is decreasing and the hydraulic
radius is increasing .

the magnitude of manning coefficient is decreasing

since the velocity is increasing and the hydraulic radius
is increasing but the Rh is up to the power 2/3 and it
won't affect as much as the velocity will do.

both manning and chezy coefficient diagram is linearly

increasing as it was expected .
