1. Setup VMs according to the lab setup.


2. Configure IPv4 address for internal networks.

Use 172.16.0.0/16 to subnet.


A server network: 500 hosts
A client network: 1000 hosts
A point to point network: 2 hosts
DMZ: 200 hosts
Use Route summarization.

3. Configure SRVxx-ISP as a LAN router. Do NOT configure any static routes on SRVxx-ISP.
Configure SRVxx-ISP as a DNS and Web server for INTERNET.com.
4. Configure routing on each company router. Enable NAT and VPN on SRVxx-R3-LA and SRVxxR-NY.
5. Configure a site-to-site VPN (L2TP) between SRVxx-R3-LA and SRVxx-R-NY.
6. Configure static routing on each company router; use route summarization. Test the connectivity
among branch offices. Test the connectivity to SRVxx-ISP.
7. Configure Active Directory (DOMAINxx.COM) on SRVxx-HQ-DC01. Configure user accounts.
Configure Active Directory Sites. Set the inter-site replication to be 15 min.

12. Install and configure Exchange Server 2010 SP3 on SRVxx-HQ-EX01.
13. Configure POP3 and SMTP on SRVxx-ISP. Configure DNS on SRVxx-HQ-DC01 and SRVxx-ISP
for email communication. Test email communication.

14. Configure AD CS on SRVxx-HQ-DC01. Configure HTTPS on SRVxx-DMZ. Configure PPTP


VPN and DHCP (for VPN clients) on SRVxx-DMZ.
15. On SRVxx-NY-DC01, configure AD DS (ABC.EDU, new forest), DNS, DHCP, AD CS, VPN
(PPTP with PEAP), NAP with VPN (check only firewall), and DirectAccess for Windows 8.1
clients only.
16. Configure Win81-xx-NY01 for VPN (No DirectAccess), and Win81xx-NY02 for DirectAccess (No
VPN).
17. Create a folder PUBLIC and share the folder on SRVxx-HQ-DC01. Allow the ABC.EDU users to
access the PUBLIC folder (Read).
