taking HSCI 244 Intro to Culinary Arts, I have learned about proper ways to
prepare healthy meals that can help individuals live a healthy lifestyle. With
my research on diabetes within our local community, I have found that San
Bernardino County has the second highest mortality rate for diabetes in
Southern California. Through your Nutrition program, we can help bring this
rate down in our community.
Through my studies, work, and volunteer experience I have developed time
management, organizational, and communication skills. This internship will
help me maximize my potential and better prepare me for a job in the field.
I believe that my professional experience and standards would make me a
