A Review of Educational Technology 1

1) Reflect on what you have learned in Ed. Tech. 1

What I learned in Ed. Tech.1 is that it is not only merely talking about the use of technology
itself but as an instructional material in education. How to use technology effectively and other
multimedia to demonstrate in class. Also, the techniques in effective use of the technology as a
class strategy. By using these techniques in the teaching and learning process, it will make
comprehension easy and making students to be able to catch-up and get ahead in class.

2) Computer shops are pervasive around school, but those are merely used for playing
games. How ca learners best use computer as they may be available in schools or at
home.
First, they should arouse the interest of the learners to engage learning using multimedia so that
their work will be productive and fruitful for their studies. Games for amusements should be
limited and computers should be used properly and professionally.

3) Given the lack of resources in the rural areas in the Philippines, what media can still be
used for effective leaning in schools?
Teachers can always choose the traditional or conventional way of displaying IMs which can be
a cartolina, manila paper, or even the black board and other object abundant that can be used to
portray a certain object.
