Reflection:
Students learned the jasmines duck story. In guided reading I did four activities for each group
which is match the word with the meaning, spelling roll a word that student start with in his spelling
list. Roll a die and complete the activity for the number he roll. Continue with the rest of his list.
Words pingo! That students write 6 words in table of 9 squares after they finish one student say the
words to check if they have the words until pingo! And finally word search puzzle. After they finish
they swap the games and practice. These games was help students to practice writing the words with
the meaning, the sound of the words and spelling. However these activities really enjoyed students to
learn and they was working as a team and share ideas together. In addition of what I teach is the
reading for green group of 5 students. Together we review the story for what happen at the
beginning, middle and in the end of the story. That let them to remember what the story is talking
about, the character of the story and the events of what happen. Also it was engage them to learn do
more exercise for the story. They was having a worksheet with questions they need to find the
answers in the story. In this activity students was identify the answers in the story that they practice
to read and pronounce the words. Also they were consternate to answer the questions clearly.
