Dear Grandma,

I hope that you are doing well. Since Thanksgiving, I could not
get our dinner conversation regarding the pipelines out of my head. I
want to inform you about the peaceful protests that are happening in
North Dakota. The land that the potential pipeline will be running
through is home to many Native Americans. Their land is very sacred
to them, and running a pipeline through their land will cause many
safety issues. The pipeline can potentially spill oil into the rivers and
contaminate their only source of water. I want you to consider the
other side of the story because you wouldnt want a possible safety
issue running through your backyard.
