I have know Kiera Cullen for 3 years and have had the pleasure of being one of her teachers, Athletic
Directors and Girls Basketball Varsity Coach at Buckingham Charter. From my experience and observation, Kiera is a student with an extremely bright future and many valuable qualities that will serve her
well in the next step in her life.
While Kiera has involved herself in many different aspects of her high school career, I think that her
perseverance, academic excellence and moral character are a few of the key qualities that show her consistent maturity, leadership skills and ambition toward her future goals. As her coach, I have observed
her to be an extremely hard worker and driven by her own personal commitment to want to be a better
person, student and basketball player. However, I believe that her dedication to the sport has made her a
better, more well-rounded young woman. As she has sought to build rapport with her teammates and
classmates through hard work and discipline, it has exhibited a genuine interest in wanting to help others
and develop camaraderie with her peers.
The understanding of ones strengths and weaknesses are an important process in a young persons life,
from my experience. Kiera has definitely impressed me with a balanced recognition of both and has
used it to find ways to improve her communication, intellectual and athletic skills. Personal development
and confidence are two anchors that will catapult Kiera into a very successful college education and career.
As you can tell, I think highly of Kiera and would recommend her, without reservation, for a college that
suits her, employment or other endeavors she chooses to pursue. She would rise to the challenge, devote
herself fully and always believe in her own potential. I see nothing but a bright and successful future for
this impressive young woman.
