Post Lesson Reflection

1. To what extent were lesson objectives achieved? (Utilize

assessment data to justify your level of achievement)
Lesson objectives were met to proficiency by all students. Each student
was able to complete at least two problems in the activity put forth for
the formative assessment. While more practice is necessary for some
students who had difficulties applying the formulas initially, it is clear
that all students understand how to use the formula. More practice is
needed in the application of the overarching ideas and the use of
technology strategies.
2. What changes, omissions, or additions to the lesson would
you make if you were to teach again?
If I were to teach the lesson again, I would take more time to teach
students technology strategies and give more opportunities for
students to experiment with the application of the content ideas in
practical situations.
3. What do you envision for the next lesson? (Continued practice,
reteach content, etc.)
If this topic were to continue for another lesson, I would construct a student
guided exploration on the applications of numerical integration where
students would get the opportunity to take what they have learned and
investigate using physical experimentation or online exploration on the
applications and implications of the content.
