Project Description

This project aims to provide adequate and sufficient service to the residents from
Palmera Drive in Guiwan Zamboanga City, specifically the members of 4Ps
(Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program). The project offers the 4Ps members,
particularly who do not utilize the health centre a provisional service which
promotes health, prevent and control illnesses leading to better living of the
participants through the necessary tools to handle better the present health
problems they experience.
The project will conduct programs that specifically focus to the identified problems
and needs of the participants based from the outcome of meticulous research and
survey in the area. The programs promote a cost-effective and sustainable approach
of self-management via sessions of health teaching. Participants will be attending
assemblies with series of health teaching that covers:

Food Preservation
Basic hypertension control, such as:
o Nutrition
o Physical activity
o Stress management

All sessions are designed to meet the needs of the 4Ps members, establishing
health-conducive habits which will increase the competency in their health-related
skills and empowering the participants towards continuity of the project.
