Overview/Rationale

We are currently in our nature chapter which makes it important for the
students to learn what animals live among us, as well as the different
food they eat. Students should be able to tell me about what different
animals eat.

Learning Objectives

Students will be able to identify what one animal eats verses what
another animal is not able to eat.
They will describe that one animals
home might be an off limit area to
another.

Procedure

Laptop or computer. (provided by teacher.)


Textbook.
1. Students will choose which animals they want to research.
2. Instuctor will demonstrate how the final project should look.
3. Students will be able to compare and contrast animals by using
the internet to teach them about the types of foods animals hunt
for.
4. Students will have the first two days of class to gather their
research, the third day will be used to put their diagram
together.
5. Students need to print off a final copy of their diagrams and hand
them in to me before the end of class on the fourth day of the
project.

Assessment

Each student will be graded based on the amount of information they


provide me with. Students should hand in an edited copy of their final
product. Grades will depend on how much effort each student puts
in.
