1. Developed by Richard mclaughin, John Bennet and Hugo travesi.

2. High in torque in the upper labial segment and lingual crown torque on lower
labial segment and this will minimize proclination of lower incisors during
treatment.
3. Furthermore, MBT has a reduce tip on the upper arch and subsequently
reduce anchorage requirement.
4. MBT also has a reduce torque in the lower molar and can prevent the lingual
rolling of lower molars.
