The Constitution (Exemption of Particular Contracts from
Attorney Generals Legal Advice) (Amendment) Instrument, 2014.
(Under article 119(6) of the Constitution)

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon the Attorney General by

article 119(6) of the Constitution, this Instrument is made this 28th day
of October, 2014.
1. Title.
This Instrument may be cited as the Constitution (Exemption of
Particular Contracts from Attorney Generals Legal Advice)
(Amendment) Instrument, 2014.

Amendment of paragraph 2(1) of Statutory InstrumentConstitution 12.

The Constitution (Exemption of Particular Contracts from Attorney
Generals Legal Advice) Instrument is amended in paragraph 2 by
substituting for subparagraph (1), the following
(1) An agreement or contract involving an amount of two
hundred million shillings or less is exempted from the application
of article 119(5) of the Constitution.
