The Second Informational Task:

2- Describe the purpose of diagnostic assessment.

Identify the diagnostic tests the teacher uses in your TP placement.


These might be checklists, written observations. Photograph blank
diagnostics, scan, print and or upload to your e-portfolio.
In fact, my MSTs all of them use an extra workbook contains extra
activities to assessment the children's understanding and tests
them on it. There is a special dictation book for them also to track
their vocabulary range that they saved it verbally and mentally. It is

the most traditional way of diagnosing. The childrens levels.

B) Look over the diagnostics again and identify which diagnostics are
norm referenced, criterion referenced, comparison of students ability,
comparison of student progress.
Again, this extra activity book is the criterion reference of each pupil
progress. While the comparison is the dictation book. The normal
references of the pupils' progress are the subject's books.
