Steven Pikners article is about academic writing and how it is poorly
strategized. Throughout the reading, he shared several techniques and strategies through his knowledge to help academia writers. A piece of his advice that I found very interesting was to always let other peers read your writings. He finds this very important because what you may find obvious, may not be obvious to other readers and may need to be stated clearer. Pikner also shared the ways in which he revises his own writings. He stated that after every sentence, paragraph, and chapter of his work that he goes back to revise. He always does this method with his work to ensure that his writings sound fluent and are clear of any mistakes. This article was very helpful to me to see a successful writers point of view and strategies to help me improve as a writer.
