Development
Beginning:
The teacher sets the objective and virtue of the class. They will discuss about its meaning, the teacher
writes down ideas delivered by students on the board
Students will be asked orally if they know how members of their family spend their money, what things they
buy and where they keep the money they do not spend and want to save. They will be told that when you
are an adult, we works and get a salary and thanks to that one can buy the goods you need. They will be
asked to give examples of some goods which we discussed in this unit.
Development:
Then they will read in couples and by turns pages 426-431 of the book. After the Reading we will discuss
about it orally and the most important information will be written down on the board.
Students will be asked to imagine they are adults and that they are a mother or a father that is in charge of
his/her home and family. They should create a spending budget for their home and write it down in the
notebook. Students will have the opportunity to take their notebook home to discuss it with their parents
and they may give them ideas of their own homes to create the relevant budget.
Closure:
To conclude, due to the type of activity, students must finish and discuss their budgets, which will be
presented next class.
The teacher will ask the students to discuss what they learned in the class.
Students share their ideas with the rest of the class.
