Place- Cross Country Pipeline.
Observations:
1. HYDROTEST STATUS:
Location: 4 kms away from Raw Water Reservoir inside the plant.
Length: Hydrotest conducted over a length of 1300 mtrs.
Contractor: Shri Company.
Arrangements for the Test:
a. Water for the test was taken from the local villager as well as using tankers.
b. Pump for pressurizing was brought on rent.
Working Pressure: 12 kg/cm2.
Test Pressure: 18 kg/cm2.
TEST RESULTS:
a. Test failed on 28.04.2012 after the pressure reached to 15 kg/cm2.
b. Reason for failure was leakage of dummy pipe used.
