Alysa Hackett. Ms. Hackett completed her preceptorship at Tucson Medical
Center in the Adult Critical Care Unit in Fall 2016. I served as her primary
preceptor during this time.
Ms. Hackett exhibited competency in daily tasks including: assessments,
medication administration, and interdisciplinary team communication. Alysa
strived to make her assessments thorough, had impeccable follow-through
with tasks assigned, and provided quality care to each patient. She was
inquisitive about aspects she did not yet understand and focused on gaining
as much knowledge as she could.
Moreover, each day Ms. Hackett showed up on time, with a positive attitude,
and a willingness to conquer whatever the day had in store for her. Her high
energy and eagerness to work was contagious. She demonstrated empathy
towards her patients and took time each shift to talk to them about
something unrelated to medicine. It was inspiring to see her connect with the
patients and make them feel special.
Ms. Hackett possesses outstanding nursing potential and would make a
wonderful addition to your health care team. Thank you for considering this
