REPORT

The first point to be noticed is the conception of a video poem. A

video poem is a kind of a visual poetry. It involves art with technology. The
idea of produce a video poem inserts poetry in a digital land. It also
provokes the resignification of the poem itself, that can be shown in
different type of material beyond the paper.

RESOURCES: The video poem was made with the camera and the
microphone of a cell phone (Microsoft Lumja 640 XL). The camera has
13 megapixels and the optical lens is from ZEISS. It was also used a
computer with Movie Maker program to edit the videos.

AMBIENCE: The video was filmed in the directors home, located in

Simes Filho, Bahia. The backyard of his house is small but it has a
big mango tree, that transmit an outdoor feeling. The sensation of
being at home appears through the dogs and around the walls in the
video.

DURATION: The original recorded videos have about 11 minutes.

They were filmed in two different days. After the edition, the video
poem presents about 2 minutes of duration.

EXTERNAL ELEMENTS: The video has two external elements. The

first is the poem. The author of the poem is the director himself. The
second element is the classical symphony composed by Ludwig van
Beethoven in 1808. The symphony was made by Beethoven with his
feeling for rural locations. Its considered a pastoral symphony. In
some way, the video poem (the images recorded and the poem itself)
brings this kind of relation and intertextuality with Beethovens
symphony.
