different for other films. What made me want to see it was the triller and I was also interested to see what its like for a child trying to find find his parents. I was directed by Kristen Sheridan and written by Paul Castro, Nick Castle and James V. Hart, and produced by Richard Barton Lewis, and it stars Freddie Highmore, Ken Rusell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Robin Williams and Terrence Howard. The film is set in present day New York. The main character is a musical prodigy called Evan Taylor. The plot is that Lyla and Louis have a chance meeting after their respective concerts and sleep together, but Lyla doesnt acknowledge him and Lyla eventually realizes she is pregnant. Her father secretly puts her son up for adoption, allowing her to believe that the baby died. Eleven year later, Evan Taylor begins to unravel the mystery of who he is. All the while Evans mother is searching for him whilst his father is searching for her. New name of Evan is August Rush and he has a performance with Lyla but she doesnt know. Eventually Lyla, having finished her part of the concert, begins walking away from the park but is attracted back towards Augusts performance. Louis also arrived and spots Lyla, reuniting with her. August finishes his rhapsody and smiles at Lyla and Louis, realizing that they are his parents. Although, the dialogue of the final part is brief. I really liked about this film. There is quite of Drama, and there are some amusing and positive characters, specially August Rush. The soundtrack is good with a mixture of classical and rock music. I would recommend this film to anyone who has an interest in music or just wants to enjoy a good film. Student: Pamela Espinoza
