When to use the video:
This video would be a great introduction to the food chain and animal
diversity. It is a short video that informs the viewer of the basic subject of a food
chain. It gives a few examples of locations where the food chain is in great use. I
think it would be a great way to gain the students attention on this next topic. I
would play it at the beginning of class before we start reading out of a book or
working on an activity.

When to use Video:
This is video is rap explaining the rock cycle. Although this is normally a
pretty cheesy and goof video, but one of the best ways I learned in middle school
were through songs like this. If I was teaching a middle school class, I would easy
use this video to gain their attention and inform then on the topic. During this time
in the students life, they will be engaged in a video like this and hopefully help
them remember parts of the rock cycle. I think repetition through this song would
be very beneficial to my students.
