Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)
Firstly, I will start the same routine that students follow every day. Students will play the balloon game. Teacher
will give the students the instructions of the game. From each group one student will play. The instructions are:
First, cut the wool. Second, blow the balloon. Then, tie it in your leg. Finally, go and play. Teacher will remind the
students about the bossy words and connective words by label them with squares and colours.

Guided and Independent Experience (group working with the teacher)


Low group: teacher will provide low group with ready written sentences. Connective words, bossy words and the
rest of the sentence will be in different colours. Students should put the sentences in correct order.
Middle group: teacher will provide students with ready written sentences and each part of the sentence will be in
different colour. However, the part of the sentence will be split into three: connective words, bossy words and
the rest of the sentence. Students should put the sentence in correct order and the put the steps on the correct
order.
